    Day and Night

So today we started our mixing up day and night. My hubby has to be up super early 

and  worried about not hearing his alarm. So, with summer coming up I had this idea of switching things up a bit. A change from the same ol same ol. Plus I am hoping to help cut down on electric costs by doing some of the heavier cooking at night. Laundry and such will also help.This also helps with the kids going to see their dad, who works nights.

Today we took the day off because I figure they need a day to get use to the change.They same to be really excited about doing things a little differently for a while.I have to admit I am even a little excited about a change in routine for a few months :) This puts recess and PE work first. They really like that!! Looking forward to the next few days getting a routine started. 

Also looking forward to my son's first blog tomorrow!! A very interesting few days a head indeed!! Any advice? Please leave a comment!!

Good afternoon friends! Hope you are all having a wonderful Monday. I am watching my daughter "Ryan" create her blog page. We are having a great time with this.  This is also a good quality time project. I am excited to see how we will progress. Be patient with us as we learn and grow :) 

My first blog!!

                        What a wonderful time of year to start something new!

  I have been looking for a way to get my kids interested in writing. I was on facebook today and saw a post made about blogging as a incentive for creative writing. I thought what a wonderful idea! So I decided to start my own and introduce our little homeschool family. I have been homeschooling for going on 4 years. My children are 14 and 12.The oldest a boy and the youngest a girl. We are looking forward to learning more about blogging. Have a wonderful weekend. I will post more Monday!
